Staff Profile:
Dr Carol Hartley BSc (Hons) PhD (Melbourne)
Research Fellow
Dr Carol Hartley commenced employment at The Centre for Equine Virology (CEV) in 1996 as a Research Fellow, to develop methods for the rapid diagnosis of Equine Herpesvirus-3. Since that time her research interests have been primarily focussed on the molecular virology and diagnosis of Equine Rhinitis A virus. Prior to joining the CEV, Carol worked for three years as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Macfarlane Burnet Institute for Medical Research, investigating Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Respiratory Syncytial Virus.
